  2. Do you carry boards for beginners?
    Yes, we stock surfboards suitable for all skill levels, including beginner-friendly options.

  3. Where is D Street Board Room located?
    We’re conveniently located in Encinitas, CA—stop by to check out our selection!

  4. Do you offer surfboard rentals?
    Currently, we do not offer rentals. However, we have a range of boards for purchase at competitive prices.

  5. What surf brands do you carry?
    Our inventory features boards and gear from top-quality brands as well as locally shaped surfboards.

  6. Do you provide surfing lessons or referrals?
    While we don’t offer lessons, we can recommend trusted local instructors to help you get started.

  7. Can I get advice on choosing the right surfboard?
    Absolutely! Our knowledgeable team is here to help you select the perfect board for your needs, experience level, and local surf conditions.

  8. What are your store hours?
    Our store is open Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM. Feel free to visit us during these times to browse our collection or ask any questions.

  9. Do you ship surfboards and gear?
    We offer shipping for most items, not including surfboards. Surfboards require special handling, so please contact us for possible shipping rates and details.


Return & Exchange Questions

  1. What is your return policy?
    We accept returns within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  2. Are custom or personalized items eligible for return?
    Custom surfboards, personalized items, and final sale items cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.

  3. Can I return an item purchased in-store?
    Yes, bring the item and your receipt to our Encinitas location within 30 days for a refund or exchange.

  4. Who pays for return shipping?
    Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for online orders.

  5. How long does it take to process a refund?
    Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

  6. What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
    If your item is damaged, email us at returns@dstreetboardroom.com within 48 hours with photos of the damage, and we’ll replace it or issue a refund.

  7. Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
    Yes, exchanges are available for eligible items. Contact us at louis@dstreetboardroom.com or visit our store for assistance.

  8. Are gift cards refundable?
    Gift cards are non-refundable but can be exchanged for store credit.

  1. Do you offer custom surfboards?
    At this time, we do not offer custom surfboards. However, we have a curated selection of high-quality boards to suit your style and needs.

  2. Do you provide surfboard repair services?
    While we don’t repair boards in-house, we can connect you with trusted local repair experts.

  3. What size surfboard should I buy?
    The right surfboard depends on your skill level, height, weight, and the type of waves you want to ride. Visit our shop or contact us for personalized advice.

CC Sullivan is 13 years old and a competitive surfer from Oceanside, CA.

This year CC is entering her 3rd season competing. She loves everything about the ocean and attends and speaks at City Council meetings for issues she believes in.

Her favorite surf spots are: The Lane and First Point (Santa Cruz), Swami's, and Oceanside Pier and Harbor.

Alex is a local Encinitas surfer, often spotted ripping at the many local surf spots and, of course, at Lowers. He test-rides new HSS boards, offering valuable feedback to fine-tune and perfect our designs. Beyond the lineup, Alex shares online reviews and surf clips, showcasing HSS surfboards in action and highlighting their performance.

Based in Encinitas with a background in design and love for the local beach culture, Kate creates on-trend personalized apparel for families & friends who want to match without feeling cheesy.

Logan Ryan is a 15 year old hailing from Oceanside, CA. born and raised.

Logan surfs Trestles regularly but his other favorite spots include Oceanside Harbor, Pier and Seaside Reef,  

Logan will be competing in WSA and Scholastic contests this year.  He also surfs for the Carlsbad Boardriders.  In his spare time, Logan loves to fish, he is a true waterman and lover of the Ocean!

Logan embodies the spirit of his Father, Matt Ryan, an Encinitas local and Big wave surfer who passed away when Logan was just 12.  Logan is a living legacy to the big wave charger, surfing
impressive and high consequence waves such as Pasquales, Puerto Escondido,
Mavericks, and on the North shores of Oahu and Kauai.
